Space to think, grow and flourish

Hi, I’m Juliet. I help individuals gain insights and clarity, build resilience and confidence, and discover more about what makes them grow and flourish.

My approach is rooted in the belief that you’re an individual with extraordinary potential.

“Life is a journey to be experienced, not a problem to be solved.”

The work

A “together” journey, where we walk side by side

Because no two journeys are the same, each coaching session is bespoke — tailored to your needs, reflecting your specific values and dreams.

So, what might it look like? Here are a few of the things that are likely to be included as we talk.

01

Where are you?

Where is this journey starting? Where are you in life — personally, professionally? What has brought you here, and where do you want to go? We’ll unpack all of it to help ensure your growth is sustainable.

02

Discovery

By looking at the totality of all that you bring, we will discover the things that make you flourish.

03

Gain clarity

Having unpacked those things, you’ll be able to identify and understand your priorities more easily, giving you a clearer sense of direction.

04

Building resilience

Digging into your strengths will help you build confidence and resilience, so you can bounce back stronger when life gets messy.

All these things together will enable you to have more confidence in moving forward, and in deciding what your next steps could be.

What it’s like to work together

In their words, not mine

I really enjoy coaching and seeing my clients begin to flourish — it is a real privilege to share part of their journey. Some have come with very clearly defined challenges that they want to work on, others with a more ill-defined sense of ‘life not working well’. It felt more helpful for you to hear their views on our time together, so the words below are theirs. I hope it will give you a sense of what it feels like to work with me and what happened for them.

First of all, can I encourage you to take up the offer of a free 30-minute call? It’s much easier to get a sense of what it might be like when we actually talk.

The “wise friend” approach

“Coaching with Juliet feels more like a conversation with a very wise friend.”

The power of deep reflection

“I really appreciated the questions you asked — they were both provoking and helpful, and invited me to reflect more deeply than I otherwise would have done.”

Because no two journeys are the same, each coaching session is bespoke — tailored to your needs, reflecting your specific values and dreams.

So, what might it look like? Here are a few of the things that are likely to be included as we talk.

Finding a way forward when life feels stuck

“When I look back on the struggles I was having in so many areas of my life, I can hardly recognise myself. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted from the coaching, I just knew that life wasn’t working and I needed to make some changes.”

Tangible results in daily life

“My confidence, self-awareness, sense of purpose, and the way I manage my time and decisions is so much more effective and intuitive.”

Why I’ve included these stories

A dirt road in a forest with a fence on the side.

These aren’t just nice words (although I’m very grateful for them) — they represent the extraordinary potential I believe every individual holds. Whether you’re navigating a transition or challenge, or just feel like “life isn’t working”, these stories show that coaching conversations can really provide the space for you to see your potential grow.

Curious? Let’s chat.

I offer a free 30-minute introductory call. There’s absolutely no pressure and no obligation — it’s just a chance for us to meet and see if I’m the right fit for your journey. We’ll probably talk about your goals, but don’t be surprised if we end up chatting about books or podcasts too.

A little about me

A research nerd, an avid reader, and a coach who understands purpose-driven work

I’ve spent over 30 years in the charity sector and hold a Master’s in Charity Management, so I understand the unique pressure of purpose-driven work. I’m also a self-confessed research nerd and avid reader, who loves everything from fiction to academic papers.

I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation and hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Coaching and Behavioural Psychology from Henley Business School. This means our conversations are grounded in evidence-based methods and high standards of excellence.

I’ve been married to Keith (who is also a coach!) for many years, and we’ve raised four sons — it was a busy household.

Coaching and Christian faith

My Christian faith is the foundation of who I am and shapes my view of your extraordinary potential. Coaching conversations can be a helpful place when people want to actively include their Christian faith as we work together.

This often involves exploring how their beliefs play out in the everyday “stuff” of life, and any particular challenges they may be facing.

If that’s a conversation you’re curious about, let’s chat →

Common questions

The things people usually ask

How much will it cost?+

I intentionally take a flexible approach to pricing as I never want anyone to feel unable to access support due to financial constraints. My ‘Approach to fees’ document is available on request via email. If you were to decide to go ahead with coaching, I would invoice you after each session and ask for payment within 7 days. I also have a 48-hour cancellation policy, but recognise that not everything that upsets our plans gives you that much notice.

How many sessions do I need?+

It varies. However, I usually recommend thinking about 4 sessions to start with. These may vary in length from 60–90 minutes and normally take place about a month apart, although time frames can vary too. That may not sound like many — but the main work of coaching is done by you outside our time together, as you work on the things we’ve discussed. Most people find it takes a few meetings to really start seeing the results and feeling the benefits.

What does coaching actually feel like?+

You can expect me to be kind and understanding, but I will also ask the provoking questions that invite you to reflect more deeply than you would on your own. As a coach, I aim to stand alongside you, working with you as your thinking partner. That may involve challenging your thinking or perspective, to help you see your situation differently and open up more options.

Where will we meet?+

I coach remotely, and also in person for those able to meet in the local area around Rickmansworth, Herts. I offer daytime and some evening appointments.

Do you only work with Christians?+

No — I really enjoy working with people of all faith backgrounds, or none. I do offer coaching that explicitly includes the Christian faith, if that is something someone would appreciate.
